Botanist Sarah Lambert and artist Kathryn Parsons led a series of free guided tours in autumn 2022 discovering unexpected nature highlights on suburban streets and corners.
Each session started with a guided walk, with stories of the remarkable plants to find. Participants search for these natural treasures and enjoy looking closely at their small details and discussing how the neighbourhood’s nature will change with the seasons.
Participants collated their own nature treasure box and created nature-doodles inspired by their treasures, using simple to follow instructions and top tips.
Noticing nature & being creative is fun as well as being really good for wellbeing.
