MindSpace Stamford and Art Pop-Up created the Wellbeing Map of Stamford based on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing to help the local community look after their mental health.
A group of MindSpace volunteers spoke to local people to discover where in Stamford they recommended as good places to fulfil one (or more) of the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: CONNECT, BE ACTIVE, LEARN, GIVE and TAKE NOTICE. Suggestions from the community included walking around Burghley, Gypsy Meadows and Wothorpe Towers, volunteering opportunities at Welland Rivers Trust, Second Helpings and Mindspace and keeping active with netball, tennis and cricket.
These were plotted on a beautifully drawn map by Sam Roddan with listings of other wellbeing opportunities on the reverse, which is distributed by community partners and other outlets both as a free printed leaflet and available to download below as a PDF.
