‘WarmSpace’ is designed to provide a little respite for families and those with challenges around food and energy bills.
Following our coordination of local warm hubs and winter respite last year, ‘WarmSpace’ is a new initiative Art Pop-Up is involved with, organised by our partners MindSpace so please spread the word! Signpost this to anyone you think may benefit, everyone is welcome 🙂
Every Thursday evening, George’s Food Hub provide the free, home-cooked hot meal for all attendees, there is tea/coffee/squash too. It’s completely free, hosted by MindSpace volunteers – who can offer support and a listening ear if needed, while we at Art Pop-Up provide creative activities.
People can do whatever they choose – join in, have a chat, bring a book, do their homework or just come and hang out in a warm, friendly space.
WarmSpace takes place between 4.30 – 6.30pm at the Free Church hall on Kesteven Road, PE9 1SU in Stamford.
Ideally please book so that George’s know how many to cook for – however if this is a barrier on your first visit just turn up that’s fine too!
