Art Pop-UP are VERY excited to announce that we have successfully gained funding to support our Cheer Circle Community Porject from 2024-27! The next phase of this project begins in May so keep your eyes open for details soon!
The Cheer Circle is funded by the Lincolnshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Community Investment Fund.
What is the Cheer Circle?
The Cheer Circle is a series of making and gifting sessions, to connect communities, provide opportunities to give a little back and get a little too.
For the past year, 6 community groups have made and exchanged beautiful gifts, held social events together, and shared news of their goings on and events throughout the year. It’s a circle of cheer and crafty goodness!
No one has to be creative or crafty to take part – the making sessions are led by Art Pop-Up Artists who will help everyone to do a little bit of the job; sticking, cutting, adding colour, sometimes just handing out gifts… and then all the hard work will come together!
Last year, each session taught a new craft or activity, and if that doesn’t sound like enough fun, we hosted a Cheer Circle Summer and Winter party where all the participants from each community group met and played games and enjoyed refreshments and entertainment together!
