
Art Pop Up are running a Creativity For Wellbeing programme, aiming to support individuals’ wellbeing journeys by helping them explore & develop their creativity in a variety of regular workshops.
These workshops offer a broad range of opportunities to support individuals on their wellbeing journeys by exploring and nurturing their creativity. Funded by the Lincolnshire Mental Health and Wellbeing Community Investment Fund, the programme focuses on implementing and embedding the 5 Ways to Wellbeing framework to foster positive mental health and happiness through creative exploration and expression.

Monthly Creative Crafternoons @ St Augustines Church Hall, Broad Street, Stamford 2.30 – 4.30pm
(Other volunteer led sessions ‘MindSpace Makers’ also run weekly on a Thursday afternoon at Mindspace)
The monthly Creative Crafternoon is an opportunity to come together to create and learn new skills and share knowledge and experience with others.
Making together provides a safe space for quiet conversation and social interaction. It’s also a space to have some fun and take pleasure in what we are creating.

Expressive Art Journalling @ Mindspace
Expressive Art Journaling @ Mindspace, Stamford – Tuesdays 12.30 – 2.00pm (Term time only)
Finding time in the week for yourself to be mindful and focus on ways to have positive mental health can be tricky.
Carve out an hour on Tuesdays to explore a variety of art techniques through creative journaling. The workshops will provide a space to be mindful, reflect and de-stress whilst having fun and exploring a variety of art techniques.
You don’t have to be ‘good at art’! The sessions are led by a professional artist to help and guide participants. Free to attend as part of Our regular ‘Creativity for Wellbeing’ programme.

Drop in and Doodle with Artist Korp @ The Cosy Club Stamford – Wednesdays 10-12pm
Join Korp at the Cosy Club in Stamford on Wednesday mornings for some chilled out doodling.
This session is for everyone, even if you don’t think you can draw come & try it out because we’re confident you’ll be surprised at how well you do. Stay for the full 2 hours or just 5 minutes, its totally up to you.
Bring your own sketchbook and pens or use the materials Korp brings and get creative. There is no lesson plan, its just some mindful drawing time with a little help from Korp if you’re struggling for inspiration.
No need to book, just drop by.
Art Club for over 55s – Bourne – 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month
This session is a regular relaxing and creative art session suitable for over 55s.
Bring your own materials to paint along with a short group activity or just enjoy the company of others while painting or making your own thing.
Hosted by artist Emily Bowers, to provide help if you need advice or inspiration.
The session is free, but donations are gratefully accepted!
Sketching from Life @ Mindspace – 2 Tuesdays a month from 10-11.30am
Join us for a tranquil and inspiring sketching session, where you’re encouraged to bring along objects that spark your creativity and passion.Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill or refine your existing talents, this class offers a wonderful opportunity to nurture your artistic side while boosting your overall wellbeing.
Perfect for all skill levels, the session is guided by artist Karen Neale, who will share her tips and tricks to support you every step of the way.
